Will the annually deducted Wage Tax be recalculated based on the Income Tax Table?

No, to make it easier to calculate wages, the legislator introduced the periodic Wage Tax Tables in the mid-1990s, for instance the Wage Tax Monthly Table. Periodic wage calculation should only include the relevant Wage Tax Table. The legislator does not deem it necessary to recalculate based on the Income Tax Table. On 25 June 2009, a ruling by the Board of Appeal for Tax Affairs shows that the Tax and Customs Administration should not impose an assessment for differences that have occurred by applying Wage Tax Tables. Any differences in Wage Tax will, therefore, be settled in the Income Tax declaration.
