Can you add a Manager who is not in the payroll?

Yes, you can!

Here's how:

1. Add the Manager as an employee in Celery, but set their status to inactive in Employment details.
   
   
   
   
2. An inactive employee is not included in pay runs, so you won't pay them through the system.
3. You can now select this person in the Manager field in Job Information/Career Overview for your employees.
   
   

One thing to keep in mind: You will be charged for this inactive employee for HRM only.
