Payroll - step 4 - Create and/or import employee(s)
Create Employee Manually:
In Celery, click on the Employees tab and on Add to create a new employee. While creating an employee, you will be asked to choose an 'Employee Category'. Each category explains what the category is for.
Multiple employees and/or data from other package:
Employee data Excel or CSV file
Importing multiple employees at once is also possible using an Excel or CSV file. You can find this option and an example of these import files in 'Account/Import & Export/Import employees'. Complete this sheet, and save it to your computer.
Employee data Payroll4 or Qwanto!
Make a backup of the payroll in Payroll4/Qwanto of which you want to import the employees into Celery. After creating it, this is a ZIP file. Save this ZIP file on your computer. Do this for each employer separately.
Employee data Payroll Pro Classic data
Check in Payroll Pro the number of the employer of which you want to import the employees. Then select all Payroll Pro data (except the folder 'BACKUP') in the PRW folder corresponding to the employer number, and turn this selection into a 'Compressed (zipped) folder' by right-clicking and selecting 'Send to'. A ZIP file will be created. Save this ZIP file in your computer. Do this for each employer separately.
Employee data Payroll Pro Ultra
In order to import employees via a Payroll Pro Ultra backup file, you must pack a recent backup file (.bak) as a .zip file and save it to your computer. Do this for each employer separately.
Employee data Paytime
In order to be able to import employees through a PayTime export file, you need to export your data using the CSV-Export option in PayTime and save the resulting export file (.csv) to your computer.
Employee data Rainbow
You can import Employees from Rainbow using an export file from the application. Follow the steps below to create the export file. Save this file to your computer.
